Rock Sitter Class on the Road

Participants begin their rock sitter creations by building a body with wire, tin foil and masking tape.

Next we wrap the body with fabric saturated with Paverpol, an environmentally friendly liquid that, when dry, makes fabric rock-hard. Tools and hands are simply washed in warm water.

The figure is posed on a rock either seated or reclining. Once dried enough to add another layer we dress and accessorize our creation.

I’m willing to travel within a 100 km radius of my home of Creelman to give a short class to 3 or more participants. Max. 12 please. I ask that participants be 15 or older please.

I provide instruction and all necessary Paverpol supplies for a 3-hour class for you and your

friends to complete a piece during a session.

Cost is $55 per participant.

You provide the venue, which includes table (s) and chairs for participants and a source of warm water. I have floor coverings and tablecloths, as this is pretty messy! And fun!

Figures can be modified as your imagination allows.

These weather proof pieces make great garden and yard decorations.

Rock sitters can be attached to other surfaces provided by you. However, they will not attach to plastic or resin. I have had participants use deer antlers and old books.
